Laura Mulherin - Pilates Instructor
Laura graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing of Arts in 2000 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (majoring in Contemporary Dance). Returning to Canberra she began performing with Canberra Dance Theatre and various independent artists. Laura also taught classical ballet and contemporary classes for many of the major ballet schools.
Laura started practicing the Pilates method in 1996 to help strengthen and condition her body for dance. The impressive results inspired Laura to undertake the Pilates International Certification.
Under the guidance of Lanette Gavran in Canberra, Laura completed her qualifications in 2003. After teaching in Canberra for two years Laura decided to make a life change and moved to Sydney in late 2004, here she began instructing and managing Pilates International Turramurra.
Laura has a great passion for Pilates which shows in her enthusiastic teaching methods which helps build great relationships with her clients. Laura loves seeing her clients progress and gain a greater understanding of their bodies.
Laura has been the Secretary for the Pilates Alliance for the past two years. In 2007 Laura was part of the committee which hosted the Mind Your Body Conference. Laura continues to volunteer her time to the Pilates Alliance.
Laura is currently teaching at PowerNouse Pilates Manly and Unity Pilates Neutral Bay.
