Levels (Class descriptions)

Mat 1 - Beginner Beginner level - designed for beginners to introduce and develop an understanding of the basic Pilates principles.
Mat 2 - Intermediate Intermediate level - designed for experienced beginners ready for progressive workouts.
Mat 3 - Advanced Designed for more experienced clients ready for a challenge.
Pregnancy Pregnancy classes are a gentle class for all stages of pregnancy. Focus is made for the comfort of both mother and her growing baby.
Post Pregnancy Once you've had the baby its time to get back into shape in a safe environment. This class assists the mum in knowing how to wake up their pelvic floor or deal with abdominal separation. Learn techniques with posture while breastfeeding, carrying and lifting baby.
Small App/Arc Small Apparatus - Pilates using the Pilates Arc, fitballs, foam rollers, magic circles, and theraband.
Reformer Group class utilising Pilates Reformers to give you a unique full body conditioning workout using springs as resistance.
Pre-Post Pregnancy - Reformer The reformer is an excellent workout for pregnant ladies.  It offers more resistance for excellent arm and leg exercises.  With the added use of a Pilates Arc, you can even do a small amount of extension work, which is what every pregnant lady craves.  Enjoy the workout.
Exo-Chair If you love the challenge of the reformer and mat exercises then you will love this class.  This class is an intermediate level using the studio chair with added resistance straps for more variety of arm and leg exercises.   This exciting workout will tone, strengthen and stretch every muscle in your body, as well as enhancing stability, balance and total body control.
Low Back Care *NEW The Low Back Care class is an beginner level class and you will need to have already completed ONE PRIVATE SESSION with Amy or Annette our Physio's before commencing.  It will be a combination of Mat and Reformer exercises tailored for clients who have experienced low back pain in a safe and fun environment. Classes with have a maximum of 8 participants

PowerPlate Reformer Combo Class *NEW This powerful class combines the power of the Power Plate and Reformers to give you an ultimate workout. This is an intermediate level class and you will need to have already been doing Reformer classes prior to attending.
Yoga This vinyasa flow class is a dynamic practice, a meditation in movement that blends the practices and wisdom of many yogic styles. The main focus during the class is on the breath, and synchronising the breath with movement through a series of postures.
Pilates for Kids Commencing in Term 4, 2010 in line with the school semester.
This class is a fun way for children to learn how to walk tall with great posture, enstiling them with wonderful techniques to carry forward for the rest of their life.
